Access Control and Signage
Once it has been established where the boundaries of radiation safety zones are they have to be clearly signposted and access to hazardous zones controlled. The figure below indicates how signage may be used to indicate zones of public safety (blue), occupational safety (yellow) and occupational hazard (red).
