Electromagnetic field characterisation on multiple platforms

For more than a decade EMSS has been involved in the characterisation of the electromagnetic fields on many different platforms, most notably naval vessels and automobiles.

Both these platforms are not only physically complex but are also challenging in terms of all the types of transmitters and broad frequency range encountered on these. This challenge required EMSS to constantly improve their skills as well as the simulation tools used for this analysis. Many of our clients have the same requirements and our research is focused on developing and improving FEKO to meet these needs:

  • Characterisation of antennas
  • Analysis of the performance of installed antennas
  • Prediction of near-fields for Radiation Hazard (RADHAZ, personnel, fuel, explosives)
